Is Home Advisor worth the cost?

Is Home Advisor worth the cost?
Is Home Advisor worth the cost? Well yes in fact it is and below I will show you my actual breakdown while using Home Advisor! If you own a lawn care company and you want complete lawn care marketing success, I for one would say that Home Adviser is worth the shot!

In the mid summer and fall of 2016 I used Home Advisor to gain 265 customers in a little under 3 months with $10,582 dollars! We developed our plan using our account to the fullest. We started with content and effort. Then slowly filled and built up our marketing efforts! This lead to a steady flow of not only leads from paying Home Advisor, but also from calls directly from their site! We then began to use their appointment booking tool and believe it our not the more open you are, the bigger and more steady the bookings! When you have a tech that can walk the lawn and check it, this tool can lead to tons of business. The average lawn fertilization customer value for us was $359.00.  So for a start up investment of $10,582 we made a total of $95,135.00 for our business. You also have to remember this took 2 sales members about 40 hrs each to complete at $15.00 so my labor cost was $1200.00 bringing my total cost to $11,782.00.  This being said we made $83,353 from our efforts. I truly feel if you use this tool properly in your lawn care marketing you will succeed at your goals, and you will begin to develop a routine of success through their tools.

Things To Remember:

. Work with your team and customers to gain positive reviews on your profile page. Yes it is true, the move reviews and hires on your account, the more likely you will be to succeed!

. Keep your profile up to date and relevant. Always update your online profile and ensure all of your information is correct and current, as well as images and content!

. Develop a schedule to where you can do appointments! This will help you succeed in the long run when you are marketing on Home Advisor! If you allow customers to book appointments you will be 70% more likely to close the leads.
